Thursday, July 18

Bingo Bash at The Hall // Honestly, who doesn’t enjoy a good game of Bingo every once in a while? Hosted by and benefiting Access Schools, this 17th annual party offers food, drinks, raffles and lots of Bingo with big prizes. The numbers start rolling at 6 p.m. Learn more here.

Summer Speaker Series at Sixth House Studio // This season, the downtown yoga studio is welcoming local wellness pros covering a variety of topics. Up next is “Stop the Spin Cycle of Stress: Creating Space for Flourishing in Work and Life” with Brigette Serfaty. The session includes a Q&A and plant-focused eats from Flora Jean’s. Friday, July 19

Third Friday Art Walk in Argenta // This monthly walk invites you to stroll through the Argenta Arts District’s lineup of special exhibits and events. Highlights include a new Michael Shaeffer exhibit at Argenta Library, a comic art exhibit at Acansa Gallery, live painting at Mugs Cafe and some hands-on fun at The Hub. Saturday, July 20

Watermelon Crawl at Stone Links Park // We’re inching closer to the end of watermelon season, and this annual event is one of the best ways to mark it. Head for the field and help gather up melons for the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, then get in on all the snacks, games and sweat well-spent for our neighbors in need. Bloodies, Bubbles & Brunch at Rusty Tractor Vineyards // When you can’t decide where to go for brunch, you go to a brunch festival. The Arkansas Times event team is once again hosting this indoor bash featuring brunch bites from around the metro, plus fun takes on bloody marys and bubbly cocktails. Rock City Margarita Festival + The Great Arkansas Beer Festival at the Statehouse Convention Center // You still thirsty, Little Rock? Two more of the city’s most sippable events are teaming up to host one big, delicious bash. Expect tons of margarita vendors, breweries, wines and seltzers, plus plenty of food, games and music. “A Tribute to Taylor Swift” at the Robinson Center // This is how you set the stage for the reigning queen of pop. As part of the traveling Candlelight Concert series, this show promises some of Tay’s biggest hits played by the Listeso String Quartet while surrounded by (flameless) candles. Movies at Ron Robinson Theater // The popcorn is flowing once again at the CALS theater in the River Market. Up first is “The Princess Bride” on Thursday and a Bingoflix showing of “Sharknado” on Friday, both at 7 p.m. On Saturday is the next Exhibition on Screen installment based on van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” at 4 p.m., followed by an interactive screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at 8 p.m. Learn more here.

National Loblolly Day at Loblolly Creamery // Scoops all around! Where else to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than with your favorite local scoop shop? Opening Weekend at Local Theaters // Omigod, you guys. Local stages are once again hopping this weekend and we are fully here for it. At The Studio Theatre, the incomparable Elle Woods shows Harvard who’s boss in “Legally Blonde: The Musical.” Meanwhile at The Weekend Theater, the boss comes to their own sharp realizations in Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar.”

 

Friday & Sunday, July 19 & 21

United Soccer League Southern Conference Playoffs at War Memorial Stadium // The heat is on. Teams will take to the pitch this weekend as the Rangers not only host the playoffs, but fight for a chance at the trophy themselves after winning the 2024 Mid-South Division title. Learn more here.
