Overstock Sale at The Book Store // Rejoice, bookworms. This NLR shop is doing some post-holiday cleaning and hosting a winter warehouse sale. Stock up on reads starting at $1 and bring the kiddos. Be there 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Learn more here.

Rocky Valley Trail Hike at Pinnacle Mountain State Park // If the only parts of Pinnacle you’ve explored are the summit trails, you’re missing out. Classic Movies at Ron Robinson Theater // The popcorn is flowing once again at the CALS theater in the River Market. Up first is “Best in Show” on Friday at 7 p.m., then a double feature on Saturday with “Gone With the Wind” at 1 p.m. and “A Clockwork Orange” at 7 p.m. Learn more here.

 

Sunday, Jan. 5

GloWILD Closing Night at the Little Rock Zoo // For those who have put off seeing the zoo’s immersive “larger than life light show” this season, this is your last chance.
