Little Rock To-Go Trucks Stay On the Move

Food trucks will always hold a special place in our hearts, so we decided to check out some local legends and a few in-town newbies because you know our stomachs can hold only so many favorites. You’ll be excited to know that the three we’ve featured here live up to the hype. We hope you will head out, search for and enjoy these on-the-move trucks of deliciousness.

The Dream Eats Café

Have you ever wanted some really good catered food on the go, like a great piece of marinated meat or an amazing dessert that always seems to be at weddings but nowhere in real life? Well, the Dream Eats Café does not offer chocolate fountains to go, but they do serve amazing food (their company An Affair to Remember caters for events) from their food truck. They offer daily specials, including a roast beef tenderloin sandwich that will melt in your mouth and raspberry cheesecake brownies. Need we say more?

Hot Dog Mike’s

Hot Dog Mike is making a way for the dogs in Little Rock—hot dogs, that is. This food truck mastermind serves not just traditional hot dogs; no, these dogs are slathered in goodness with such topping options as chili, slaw, cucumbers, bacon and cream cheese. Yep, cream cheese. Mike recommended a classic all-beef dog with onions, relish and mustard. You can mix and match toppings and dogs (they have veggie and turkey dogs), but a version we love that’s always on the menu is the WooPigHotDog – an all-beef dog with sweet barbecue sauce, slaw, onions, bacon and sriracha sauce. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and spicy.

Green Cuisine

Green Cuisine is Little Rock’s only vegetarian food truck, but you do not have to be a purist to enjoy their eats. They serve fresh and wonderfully healthy foods, including soups, wraps, sides and other daily specials. We love the grilled asparagus wrap with said asparagus, roasted red peppers and feta. And don’t get us started about the amazing black bean, pineapple, chipotle and mozzarella quesadilla; it’s served with house-made salsa, and it is beyond yummy.
