To commemorate half a century on the air, Little Rock Public Radio hosted a celebration at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre in downtown Little Rock. The event featured a happy hour, UA Little Rock Public Radio’s annual meeting, a silent auction, live music, local poets, a live taping of NPR’s “Code Switch” and a VIP meet and greet with NPR hosts B.A. Parker, Gene Demby and Lori Lizarraga.
