It’s almost time to stomp those divots, y’all.
The annual Little Rock Polo Classic will return on June 1 for another round of polo fun benefitting Hope Rising Children’s Home. The event, held at the Windrush Polo Club, includes a silent auction, jewelry raffle, a best-dressed competition, gourmet food and libations. Attendees will also have a chance to participate in the traditional divot stomp followed by a champagne toast.
Proceeds from the event go toward Hope Rising Children’s Home in Leogane, Haiti. During a mission trip after the 2010 earthquake, members of First Baptist Church in Lavaca were inspired to start Hope Rising, a Jesus-centered nonprofit dedicated to introducing the gospel and serving through local missions. The Children’s Home is a safe haven for orphans and vulnerable children who need a place to heal. We are a safe haven for orphaned and vulnerable children who need temporary residential care to heal.
The event is weather-dependent, so be sure to check for any updates on the Facebook event page. For more tickets and more info, click here.
