When we think of the whole wide world of all the battles fought, none is more exciting than in the world of breakfast. Yes, we said breakfast.
Thomas’ Bagels (the ones you find in the grocery store) is hosting the Hometown Breakfast Battle Voting Sweepstakes, which is a big and fancy title for a contest where chefs from around the U.S. are chosen to create recipes using said bagels, and the rest of us are called to vote for our favorites.
Well, it’s not going to be hard to pick our fave: Chef Mark Abernathy of Little Rock staples Red Door and Loca Luna is in the lineup! His take on the toads in a hole recipe claimed his spot among the 135 chefs chosen, one of only two from Arkansas.
