It’s easy to be intimated by baking. Everything has to be so exact and unless you know what you’re doing, being creative is not an option. Feel the same? Check out this classic baking class with Zara Abbasi Wilkerson at Eggshells Kitchen Co. Thursday, April 24.

Wilkerson is head pastry chef at Natchez in downtown Little Rock. Born in New York City but raised in Boston and Little rock, Wilkerson began baking at the age of six. Entirely self-taught, the chef began baking for family and friends before beginning a small baking operation that eventually lead her to Natchez.

The class is $50 and you can register here. It starts promptly at 6 p.m. and the class begins with wine and beer.
