Leadership Conference Focused on Professional Women at Verizon Arena Today

A conference focused on empowering professional women, Women Can! 2014, is taking place at Verizon Arena today (March 18) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  

Presented by Leadership Arkansas, women from around the state come together for leadership strategies, career empowerment, professional development and networking.  The registration fee is $75. 

Here’s the lineup of keynote speakers:

Anne Doyle

Anne is a leadership and communications strategist, keynote speaker, media commentator and author of “POWERING UP! How America’s Women Achievers Become Leaders.”


Sonja Hubbard, CPA

Sonja has served as Chief Executive Officer for E-Z Mart Stores Inc. for 15 years. E-Z Mart Stores Inc. is a Texarkana, Texas-based chain of over 300 operating locations in the four-state area consisting of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Korto Mormolu

Korto is a fashion designer and stylist. Korto was born in Monrovia, Liberia, and lived there until 1990 with her parents and siblings. They left due to civil war and settled in Canada where Korto pursued her passion and studied fashion design at the L’Academies des Couturiers Design Institute in Ottawa, Ontario. After graduation, she moved to Arkansas with her husband to raise their daughter and began producing chic women’s wear and accessories influenced by her African roots and inspired by rich fabrics. Korto appeared on the fifth season of Bravo TV’s hit show Project Runway, and has since appeared on Project Runway All Stars.

Stephanie Streett

As Executive Director of the Clinton Foundation, Stephanie is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Clinton Presidential Center, including the development and implementation of its educational programs, special events, exhibits, services and staff management.
