The first-ever Little Rock Gran Fondo will be running through town this Saturday with someone you might recognize: cyclist Lance Armstrong.
He announced the trip to Little Rock on his Twitter account May 29. Here it is:

This premium cycling event is for enthusiasts and racers, alike, that will take on a highly unique course on the less traveled roads south of Little Rock with a start and finish line on Main Street in front of the Orbea Bike Shop, 119 Main St., Little Rock.
A celebratory block party Pop Up Main with fellow cyclists and more will immediately follow the ride. The foodie event will feature yummy food from Thomas Bohm of The Pantry, Donnie Ferneau, Travis McConnell of Butcher and Public, Matt Bell of South on Main and Arturo Solis of le klaxon noir.
