There’s another sorbet option coming to downtown Little Rock.
We first told you about this particular store, Kilwins, coming to the Arcade Building back in April. The ice cream shop is set to open next month!
Although it’s a chain, Kilwins isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill ice cream shop. In addition to ice cream, the shop will have fudge, toffee, caramel and caramel apples, brittles and salt water taffy.
For ice cream lovers, you can waffle cones and bowls made right there in the store. All your topping choices, like caramel and chocolate, are made in-house, as well. The shop will also feature gourmet coffee and hot chocolate, and other beverages.
This will be the first Kilwins location in Arkansas. It will be located at 415 President Clinton Ave. next to Freckled Frog.
The shop will have a soft opening Aug. 16, and be officially open Aug. 17. A grand opening weekend-long event is planned for September, but no official dates have been set. Kilwins will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. or midnight Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
