Kick Off Cycling Season With Pedalpalooza and the Rock City Ramble

The season of cycling is almost upon us, and our city is doing it right with two riding events smashed into one day: Sunday, April 10.

On this fateful day, Bobby’s Bike Hike and the River Market have teamed up to create the Rock City Ramble, a two-wheeled scavenger hunt. Riders can either compete in the hunt in teams or ride solo.

Once you’re crushed the competition, head back to the River Market for Pedalpalooza. There you can get outfitted with all the latest and greatest (and used, if you so desire) gear to keep you on the trail. You can also browse cycling-themed art from Stephano’s Fine Art Gallery and check out local bike clubs, advocacy groups and the always awesome Recycle Bikes for Kids.

And because you’ve worked up an appetite, fuel up at Hot Rod Wieners or Southern Salt food trucks while you get free bike maintenance advice.

No wheels? No worries. You can always rent a bike for $10 from Bobby’s Bike Hike.

Kick off the 2016 cycling season in style with the Rock City Ramble beginning at 11 a.m. and Pedalpalooza starting at 2 p.m. For more information on the scavenger hunt, click here, and learn more about the after party by clicking here.
