Jimmy Buffett’s ‘Escape to Margaritaville’ Takes the Stage This Weekend

Now where’d we put that shaker of salt?

You know the tunes, but you’ve never seen the tale — until now, that is. Jimmy Buffett’s “Escape to Margaritaville” takes the Robinson Center stage this weekend, Nov. 1-3.

The musical romantic comedy follows the story of a singer/bartender who falls for a tourist at a Caribbean getaway, until paradise is threatened by a volcano.

The show includes some of Buffett’s classics like “Fins,” “Volcano,” “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and, of course, “Margaritaville,” alongside a host of original songs. The production put Broadway on island time before taking the show from Emmy-winner Greg Garcia and Emmy-nominee Mike O’Malley on the road.

Audiences have four chances to see “Escape to Margaritaville”: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. For more information and to get your tickets, head to the Celebrity Attractions website.
