Set your intention to relax this weekend.
Barefoot Studio, located at 3615 Old Cantrell Road, is hosting the Light Up Your Heart Glow Yoga event this Friday, Dec. 11.
In addition to getting centered, glow yogis will also have a chance to give back during this two-class event, which will benefit The Van — a nonprofit servicing the needs of the homeless.
Owner Breezy Osborne, daughter of late businessman and philanthropist Jennings Osborne, says this weekend’s event is special as it celebrates her father’s life and legacy.
“My father spent the majority of his life giving back to the community in some of the most creative and ‘out of the ordinary’ ways and it is one of my missions to continue loving on the community while we all give back together,” said Osborne.
Here’s the rundown of Friday’s events:
- Light Up Your Heart Glow Yoga with Breezy & LIVE Video DJ G-Force is from 6 p.m.- 7p.m. Tickets are $15 per person.
- Kids Light Up Your Heart Yoga Class, for kids ranging from three to nine years old, with Rhonda Robinette is from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m.. Tickets are $10 per child.
Preregistration is required to attend either class. Click here to register.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for those wanting to use the studio’s glow paint.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring socks and other warm items to the event for additional support of The Van.
