‘Into the Woods’ Closes Arkansas Repertory Theatre Season With Hillary Clinton in Cast

Storybook monsters, unexpected heroes and a whole lot of magic take the stage in the Arkansas Repertory Theatre‘s upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim’s beloved “Into the Woods,” The Rep’s 2021-2022 season finale.

This 1986 Tony Award-winning musical goes beyond the happily ever after as we explore the complications and consequences favorite fairytale characters face when their wildest wishes are granted.

The cast features a mix of local and national talent including, most notably, Hillary Rodham Clinton as The Giant. Also on the roster are Jacob Keith Watson as The Baker, Ximone Rose as The Baker’s Wife, Miranda Jane as The Witch, Erica Durham as Cinderella and much more.

“Into the Woods” runs April 19 – May 15, with opening night festivities set for Friday, April 22, and multiple Pay-What-You-Can Nights, as opposed to the traditional one night.

Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test are required for all attendees, and masks must be worn at every performance.
