Instagram Obsessions: Sally Nixon

There’s not much we love more in life than fierce ladies, good art and real talk, and that’s why we can’t get enough of Sally Nixon.

The Little Rock illustrator has snagged the attention of national sites (as well as her 40k+ Instagram followers) with her pieces depicting everyday scenes — most frequently of relatable, un-romanticized women doing everything from sunbathing with friends to lounging on the couch with wine and pizza.

Nixon’s work has been featured in multiple publications and websites, including, quite often, the Lenny Letter. You can see her pieces in person at the Historic Arkansas Museum through Sept. 4, and you can purchase a print of your own from her Etsy shop.

Today, we’re getting lost in her Instagram feed, which features new work, progress timelapses and the occasional pic of her adorable pup. Join us.
