With longer days and warmer temperatures in tow, spring is here in full force, and not even the April showers can slow down Arkansans chomping at the bit to get outside.
That, plus a year of social-distancing and Earth Day on April 22 have me particularly thankful to live in a place with so much natural beauty to explore. But when I can’t get out and roam, or when I need some inspiration for the next trail, I head, of course, to Instagram.
If you’re looking to do a little Natural State daydreaming yourself, give these accounts a follow.

This one’s a given. As the official outdoors account of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism, followers can expect shots of some of the state’s most-loved sites from the folks who know it best.
They also share plenty of city love on @arkansas, so check that out as well.

This list wouldn’t be complete without the account titled exactly what we’re looking for. Photographer David Dedman shares gorgeous shots from around the state, but mostly in the wilds of northwest Arkansas.
BONUS: If you want a mix from all corners of The Natural State, check out @arkansastopspots and @wonderfularkansas which curate posts submitted from Arkansans statewide.
