Inaugural Arkansas Brewers Festival to Take Place Saturday

Say “hello” to the first-ever Arkansas Brewers Conference and Festival. Hosted by the Arkansas State Fair on Saturday, July 18, this event is one that comes out of an open mind and old fashioned generosity.

The good people of the Arkansas Brewers Guild, an organization dedicated to furthering the “common interests of the members of the brewing industry in Arkansas,” is required to meet annually. This year, instead of just talking shop, they’re opening up shop, too.

By day, business will continue as usual with members of the brew community attending panels and sessions and workshops. By night, the doors will open to the public with a variety of local breweries to sample, concessions and even a little help from Uber to get you home safe and sound.

“The brewing industry in Arkansas is experiencing record growth, and it is important that we all work together to promote the craft within the state,” Arkansas Brewers Guild president Russ Melton said. “This conference and festival will connect members of the brewing community to one another while offering a unique experience to the public to sample a variety of local beers in one place.”

The public is welcome to the festival from 7-10 p.m. General admission gets you 10 samples, while a VIP ticket gets you 25 and a commemorative glass. Learn more and get your tickets here.
