How You Can Help CALS Feed Hungry Kids in Little Rock

It’s easy to feel a little helpless in the face of coronavirus uncertainty. But, there are still ways you can step in and help your neighbors during this time.

One way to do that is with the Central Arkansas Library System’s Be Mighty Little Rock fundraising campaign that’s raising money to feed kids in need at local library branches.

With school closings in effect around central Arkansas due to coronavirus concerns, that impacts school-aged children being able to eat breakfasts and lunches that they count on during the school year. CALS is teaming up with LRSD, the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, the Clinton Foundation and the city of Little Rock to provide food for kids who need it.

So far, CALS has raised $490 and counting toward its goal of $5,000. Any size gift is appreciated and you can donate online here
