How to Support Local Nonprofits for Giving Tuesday Now

Throughout COVID-19, we’ve been supporting local businesses through curbside pickup and online shopping. But today is about our beloved nonprofits.

Giving Tuesday is a movement that encourages people to take action by giving back to nonprofits in their area. Though Giving Tuesday normally happens after Black Friday during the holiday shopping craze, an emergency date has been added in light of the coronavirus. The virus has also hit nonprofits hard, with social distancing rules preventing many of their events that help them raise funds to continue their work.

So hit the breaks on that DoorDash order and think on the causes you care about, the community organizations you use every day that rely on the help of the ones they serve. Then consider giving a little (or a lot) to make sure they can keep up the good work.
