The grocery mecca Kroger recently announced the launch of its new online shopping service called ClickList. It’s a pretty straightforward process: Once you sign up, you simply choose whatever items you want online (including fresh produce and meat), reserve a pick-up time at your local store, pay (yes, you can use your Kroger Plus card) and drive to your store where an employee will meet you curbside with your items.
The time-saving aspect of ClickList is a godsend for the busy bees who hardly have time to make dinner, much less spend hours at the grocery store. You never have to wander the aisles or fight the lines again. Yes, please.
But this new service has the opportunity to change more than just your daily to-do list.
For those of us who are guilty of throwing in a box of Cheez-Its or a 12-pack of Dr. Pepper on the way to the checkout line, ClickList offers the chance to help you stay on a healthy track while buying your groceries. See no evil Cheez-Its, buy no evil Cheez-Its.
Of course, this means making a healthy grocery list in the first place, but your resolve is much less likely to crumble when you don’t have to walk by the frozen pizza and Lucky Charms.
ClickList will begin rolling out across central Arkansas over the next few weeks. Here’s a look at which Kroger locations will offer ClickList:
- Little Rock, 14000 Cantrell (ordering available Aug. 7, pick-up available Aug. 11)
- North Little Rock, 6929 JFK Blvd. (ordering available Aug. 14, pick-up available Aug. 18)
