October is National Hispanic Heritage Month and the Clinton Presidential Center is celebrating in style.
This Saturday, Oct. 12, the center will host a free event for families that kicks off with the Oscar-winning and well-loved Pixar movie “Coco.” After the screening, guests can also enjoy live music and hands-on art activities for all ages.
Guests are also welcome to check out the center’s current temporary exhibit “José Sacal: A Universal Mexican” located on the Clinton Center’s Sky Terrace. Sacal is internationally renown for his contemporary sculptural art, and this exhibit includes pieces inspired by artists like Frida Kahlo and Picasso, as well as recreations of historical figures like Einstein and Churchill.
The fun lasts from noon – 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public, but reservations are encouraged.
