It’s Goodwill Week, and there are plenty of events going on around Little Rock throughout the week!
It’s something the nonprofit organization does every May to highlight the power of work through local events and promotions. Goodwill Week started back in 1951.

Career Fair
Tuesday, May 6
Employers, service providers and job seekers join together for career fairs across Arkansas, including in Fayetteville, Batesville, Rogers and Springdale, among other cities. The Little Rock career fair is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Goodwill Resource Center at 7400 Scott Hamilton Road.
Turning Jeans into Dreams
Wednesday, May 7
This is Goodwill’s annual award luncheon and local celebrity fashion show. This year’s event is already sold out!
Customer Appreciation
Thursday, May 8
It’s 20 percent off items all day long! It’s only valid at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas stores. It’s not valid at the Outlet Center.
Peace Love Goodwill 5k Run/Walk
Saturday, May 10
This year’s run/walk is taking place at Murray Park in Little Rock. The first 200 registrants get a t-shirt, and the first 200 finishers get a medal. Children under 10 race free. The race starts at 8 a.m. Be sure and dress up in your best 60s or 70s style costume for the day! You can find one at your local Goodwill.
