And it was all yellow (and blue and green and orange, etc.).
Thea Foundation’s annual Thea Paves the Way sidewalk chalk event is set to once again take over the Clinton Presidential Center front lawn from 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Families, students and groups of all kinds are invited bring their artistic skills to the pavement, covering the sidewalks around the building in vibrant chalk art, from simple doodles to bonafide masterpieces.
Thea Paves the Way draws hundreds of participants from across the state to this creative community event each year. The day also includes family-friendly fun such as live entertainment and face painting. Groups are encouraged to BYO-chalk.
The event is free, so register your group now. And if you’re a teacher bringing your students, you have a chance to win one of six $250 gift certificates for art supplies from Dick Blick.
Thea Foundation is a local nonprofit that works to promote art programs for kids across the state, including after school activities and scholarships. Learn more at the Thea Foundation website.
