Hear Southern Style Confessions at Final Fashion Footprints Event

Fashion Footprints is coming to a close. The string of events celebrating the heritage of Southern fashion was put together by the winning team of Capital HotelEsse Purse MuseumOxford American Magazine and designer Linda Rowe Thomas.

The final installment, titled “Fashion in Words and Pictures,” will take place at the Oxford American Annex, 1300 Main Street, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.

This event will serve up an amalgamation of the previous events that featured a woman’s “purse-onal stories” at Esse Purse Museum and the power of the little black dress at Linda Rowe Thomas’s new downtown studio.

At those events, guests were invited to tell their style stories in a video “confessional” booth. Fashion in Words and Pictures will be the big premiere of those highlights with clips shown as those gathered honor the family tales and ties of fashion.

To pay tribute to the fashionistas who raised them, guests are encouraged to wear any pieces with emotional or sentimental attachments. You’ll also enjoy wine and a signature cocktail, as well as light bar fare.
