Career goal:

After basic training and AIT for the National Guard, I plan to attend Arkansas State University and get a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, with the intent to get a master’s and maybe even a doctorate in the field. I hope to be able to provide a positive influence in the field and further electrical engineering, whether it’s with microchips or power grids.

Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life:

A teacher that made a difference in my life, Dr. Phillip Blake, encouraged me to take AP Computer Science A, even though I had no real prior knowledge about coding. Coding is now something I look forward to learning more about in the years to come.
