Head of the Class: Adanna Mogbo, Episcopal Collegiate

Adanna Mogbo
GPA: 4.48

Episcopal Collegiate School

Colleges accepted to:

Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University

Honors & Achievements:

U.S. Presidential Scholar Candidate, National Merit Finalist, Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish and English, Editor-in-Chief of The EpiscaTimes, Stella Boyle Smith Trust Summer Science Scholar

Career goal:

As of now, I am very interested in reconstructive plastic surgery, either by becoming a surgeon myself or working in the biotechnology industry to develop newer and safer surgical devices and techniques.

Reconstructive surgery can instantly transform the lives of many people, like burn victims or children born with cleft palates, and it would be so emotionally fulfilling to be a vital part of that transformation.

Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life:

The educator that has impacted me the most has been Ms. Debbie Pettibone. Not only has she been so encouraging and compassionate to me in the past three years that I have been her student, but her passion for the Spanish language has made me recognize its beauty and has granted me a new way of interacting with the world.
