Career goal: I hope to double major in psychology and women’s, gender and sexuality studies. Ultimately, I want to become a licensed clinical social worker and pursue a career as a therapist, working specifically with women and adolescent girls.
Tell us about the teacher, coach or administrator who made a difference in your life: The educator that has impacted me the most has been Ms. Vivian Blair. From being my English teacher in ninth grade to my college counselor, she has been with me through it all. She’s pushed me out of my shell, encouraged me to use my voice to advocate for what I believe in and helped me to recognize my full potential. Thanks to the support of Ms. Blair, I will go off to college as a strong, independent and confident young woman.
