Haunted Arkansas Brings Back Argenta Ghost Tours

Let the spookiness begin.

The weather has finally started to turn (even if only a few degrees), and we’re ready to fully embrace everything autumn has to offer, including the things that go bump in the night.

Haunted Arkansas Ghost Tours (formerly Haunted Argenta) have taken to the North Little Rock streets for years, diving deep into the history and legends of the Argenta neighborhood. Led by Paul Prater, an award-winning mind reader and entertainer, and historian Amy Jones, the walking tours cover everything from the tale of the Argenta Devil to the historical buildings’ inhabitants who never left.

Haunted Arkansas has yet to announce whether its popular Boos and Brews tour will return to the series lineup, though we have our fingers crossed. On these select nights, guests do the original walking tour, but extend it with a focus on Argenta’s more mischievous past. Attendees then spend time inside some haunted locations, enjoy a few drinks, hear stories like the history of “the most evil bar in Argenta” and even sit in on a seance.

Tours begin this Friday, Oct. 4, and run through the first weekend of November, each lasting an hour and a half. To learn more and to get your tickets now, visit the Haunted Arkansas website and follow along on Facebook.

Update: Boos and Brews tours have been confirmed, but dates have yet to be announced, so keep an eye on the tour website.
