That dread you feel before walking into the store with a long list of grocery needs? You are not alone.
But that may soon be a thing of the past. The one-hour grocery delivery service Instacart just announced that it’s service will soon expand to the Little Rock metro.
“Over the past year we’ve seen incredible demand in the Little Rock area,” senior operations manager Alex Sweeney said in a press release. “We work with a variety of local retailers to provide the freshest, highest quality groceries to our customers. Expansion into Little Rock gives us an opportunity to expand service in the Arkansas market.”
So how does it work? Simply download the app or visit the Instacart website, select your store of choice — like Kroger, Whole Foods Market, Petco, etc. — fill up your virtual cart, choose a delivery time and check out.
From there, an Instacart personal shopper (much like an Uber driver) collects your order and delivers it to your doorstep.
First-timers can also use the code HILITTLEROCK at checkout to get $20 off an order of $35 or more and a free delivery. The code expires Oct. 14.
The service will begin in Little Rock on Tuesday, Aug. 15.
