If you’re looking for a mini escape, here’s your chance.
SUP Yoga 501 is hosting its Wild Excursion Yoga Retreat starting on Friday, July 30. The weekend-long yoga retreat will include paddling out to a beautiful island on Lake Ouachita and camping for two nights.
This weekend, meant to empower women to conquer the outdoors, includes paddleboard yoga (SUP stands for stand-up paddleboard), a paddling tour of Rabbit Trail in Jessieville and empowering sessions to create a stronger self. The weekend will conclude with a closing ceremony on Sunday at 10 a.m.
“Sometimes we just have to get really raw to find our true selves, and this is our opportunity here in Arkansas,” says JoAnn Camp, yoga instructor and owner of SUP Yoga 501.
The retreat has two registration options: $150 and bring your own supplies, or $250 for included paddleboard, kayak or canoe, plus a tent and supplies.
