Giving Tuesday Aims to Celebrate and Encourage Generosity

After the spending craziness of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, it’s easy to descend into the fa-la-la frenzy and not come up for air until the new year.

That’s where Giving Tuesday comes in.

You might have already noticed the recurring trend on your social media timelines. The goal of the movement is to change how people think about the season and encourage them to take action by give back.

Take a moment today to think about the non-profits you care about and the community organizations you use every day that rely on the help of the ones they serve. Then consider giving a little (or a lot) to make sure they can keep up the good work.

Here are a few we’re thinking about today. Click through to find out how you can give back.

Central Arkansas Library System

Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance

Ronald McDonald House of Central Arkansas

Rock City Rescue

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas

Heifer International

Women’s Foundation of Arkansas
