MISSION

United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas’ mission is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with a spectrum of disabilities. UCP of Arkansas began in 1957 when a group of five families sought services for their children with cerebral palsy. The organization has since grown into one of the largest and most comprehensive nonprofit agencies in the state. Services include day habilitation, educational programs and case management for more than 500 adults and children. UCP Enterprises is an entrepreneurial business division of UCP of Arkansas. The UCP family is committed to helping people with disabilities live a life without limits, and employment is an important part of this goal.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

• Gone for Good Document Destruction: UCP’s secure shredding service is NAID AAA-certified, and they specialize in printed, non-printed, hard drive and media destruction.

• Ultra Cartridge Products: This innovative green company remanufactures and recycles toner cartridges, which provides a cost-effective option for individuals and businesses.

• UCP Recycling: This recycling center specializes in reprocessing fabric, aluminum cans, metal, pallets, soft plastics and mixed paper.

• Employment Services: This program teaches universal work skills and facilitates future employment through the manufacturing of products and services.
