MISSION:
Creating spaces where the curious can learn, the maker can make and the adventurer can explore is part of what drives the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation. In supporting the museum’s mission to preserve, interpret and present the early history and creative legacy of Arkansas, the foundation raises money for the fun stuff.
The foundation supports Living Craft Saturdays, Camp Historic Arkansas, 2nd Friday Art Night, the Nog-Off, annual events like the Frolic and free field trips for school kids. It also raises money to purchase Arkansas Made for the museum’s outstanding collection of fine and decorative art that spans hundreds of years. The fun stuff.
FUNDRAISERS AND EVENTS:
Our fall Candlelight Gala on Nov. 7, 2026, will raise money for programs, events and the museum’s collection. It promises to be a spectacular evening, featuring a cocktail hour in the galleries with a wine pull and drawings for amazing prizes followed by dinner under a tent with bourbon bars and a live auction full of rare experiences such as a private dinner on the museum’s historic grounds.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:
- Candlelight Gala: A great party — the most fun way to give!
- Membership: Museum members have supported programming for 30-plus years.
- Time: Volunteers make things happen — it’s as simple as that!
