MISSION
Heifer’s mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth. For 75 years, Heifer International has provided livestock and training in sustainable agriculture to improve the lives of those who struggle daily for reliable sources of food and income. Heifer is currently working in 21 countries, including the U.S., to help families and communities become more self-reliant.
In Arkansas, Heifer USA works with small-scale farmers to help them transform rural communities and revive local economies. With hands-on learning and access to livestock and horticulture experts, Heifer teaches farmers how to grow their sustainable farm enterprises while protecting the environment.
FUNDRAISERS AND EVENTS
Support local farmers in Arkansas at one of Heifer’s summer events in June 2020. The flagship event, Feast in the Field on June 5, 2020, is a sophisticated evening featuring local food and community spirit. All events will be held on the grounds of Heifer’s global headquarters, adjacent to the Clinton Presidential Center. For more details on this and other events, visit Heifer.org/Events.
