MISSION:
Economics Arkansas equips PreK-12 teachers with standards-based resources and professional development to teach economics and personal finance. By teaching teachers, who in turn teach students, EA maximizes its impact exponentially.
Using project-based, grade appropriate, innovative methods, students can master an understanding of economics and personal finance and apply that knowledge for success in a free-market economy.
The goal is for students to know how the world works so that they understand how to become responsible citizens, consumers and members of the workforce.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES:
- $1,000 sponsors a virtual teacher professional development, reaching teachers across the state
- $2,500 sponsors a school-based Family Financial Literacy Night, helping students and families learn personal finance
- A gift of any size to the Economics Arkansas Foundation supports the long-term success of EA
