MISSION
Birch Tree Communities Inc., believes in the power of mental health recovery. We believe that for every person living with a mental illness, there is a real expectation of recovery. That is what BTC does. This organization is in the business of recovery.
Founded in 1989 by the late Tucker Steinmetz in Saline County, BTC started with a group of 10 mentally ill adults and now serves close to 400 adults throughout the state of Arkansas who are living with a serious mental illness. The organization provides the full spectrum of care including Therapeutic Communities services.

• Expressive Arts Program: Supplies and full-time art instructor — $85,000 annually; Expressions Art Show — $15,000
• Capital Needs: Greenbriar Expansion (currently underway) — $948,000; New Malvern Program Center — $1.5 million
• Member Transportation Needs: 12 large passenger vans — $480,000; Three sedans — $75,000

• The 17th annual Expressions Art Show and Sale will be held on April 20, 2023.
