Pop Up in the Rock is having its first planning meeting for the 2014 Pop Up event this Monday (Feb. 10) at Studio Main, 1423 Main St. Little Rock from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The location and date for the 2014 Pop Up event will be discussed at Monday’s meeting.
Pop Up in the Rock is a community development organization that focuses on enhancing local city areas with underdeveloped potential. During this annual event, parts of the city are temporarily transformed into a thriving community-oriented area. Last year, a children’s library, bike lanes and temporary shops ‘popped-up’ on Seventh Street.
