Food Truck Festival Sets New Records

Deep breaths, everyone. We’re less than two weeks away from the Main Street Food Truck Festival. Yes, the 2015 fest is just around the corner, and this year, there are even more reasons to get excited.

Since it began, the MSFTF has grown in size every year, but this time around, a record-setting 45+ food trucks will descend on downtown Little Rock. That means all your favorites will be there, including the ones you haven’t gotten to try yet.

“Last year we saw over 10,000 people come to Main Street in Little Rock to eat at the food trucks,” Downtown Little Rock Partnership executive director Gabe Holmstrom said. “This year we have even more trucks for people to choose from, and are excited to show off all of the energy in the heart of downtown.

The endless deliciousness will go perfectly with all the vendor booths and live entertainment. Another added bonus this year is that each truck will feature an under-$5 item as a menu sampler.

In other words: BYO-Tums-in-a-Pez-dispenser.

The 2015 Main Street Food Truck Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 3, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Main between 3rd and and 8th streets. For updates and information, follow the festival on Facebook.
