Film Alley Entertainment Center to Replace Breckenridge Theater

Ever since plans to revamp Breckenridge Village first emerged in 2022, Little Rock residents have wondered if those plans would involve the Regal UA Breckenridge Theater.

Today, developers announced the coming of Film Alley in the former 12-screen theater set to open in early 2025.

Film Alley, a product of Schulman Theatres, is a chain of spaces billed as “movie entertainment centers” currently in seven locations across Texas. The Rodney Parham location will house eight dine-in movie auditoriums with heated recliners, duckpin bowling lanes, an arcade and full menu and bar.

“The addition of Schulman Theatres’ Film Alley is an exciting development that will make Breckenridge Village even more unique with a number of entertainment and dining options,” says Jim Keet, chairman of JTJ Restaurants, partial owner of Breckenridge Village. “The Schulmans are first-class operators, and we are excited to have them coming to central Arkansas.”

Progress on the property has had many updates in recent months with Waldo’s Chicken and Beer, Eat My Catfish, Mt. Fuji and Neverwhere Coffee, Comics & Oddities all open for business. Meanwhile, construction continues on the new locations for The Root Cafe, Flyway Brewing and Deluca’s Pizza.

According to Keet, there are also plans for a temporary entertainment district designation for Breckenridge Village.
