Fidel & Co., Sterling Market Owner Takes Over Red Door and Loca Luna

Remolinos Group, a concept group that is “creating new experiences surrounding food, drink and life in Little Rock,” just announced that it is acquiring two locally cherished restaurants, Red Door and Loca Luna. The group currently operates Fidel & Co. and Sterling Market, as well as Stōko Coworking, and is about to usher in an exciting new chapter for the two dining establishments and their faithful guests.

Fidel Samour, owner of Sterling Market and Fidel & Co., expressed enthusiasm about the future of Red Door and Loca Luna.

“We are incredibly excited about what lies ahead,” Samour says. “Our goal is to blend the longstanding traditions of these restaurants with new, innovative ideas that will elevate the dining experience. We are dedicated to supporting the talented teams and continuing the legacy that has been so passionately established.”

All parties in the operation are aiming for a seamless transition and a future filled with culinary excellence.

“I am excited to see these restaurants continue to thrive under the new ownership of Remolinos Group,” says Mark Abernathy, creator and long-time owner of Red Door and Loca Luna. “Their dedication to preserving our established legacy while introducing fresh ideas ensures that Red Door and Loca Luna will remain cornerstones of Little Rock’s dining scene for years to come.”

Abernathy will stay on board throughout the handover, and Remolinos Group will honor all previously purchased gift cards and certificates, reaffirming their commitment to the loyal customer base.

The iconic names will also remain the same. Guests can expect gradual changes in the near future, but for now, the sale of the two restaurants will certainly spark new life and excitement at the intersection of Cantrell and Old Cantrell roads.
