Fall Entertaining Redefined

During fall in the South, we often abide by the F’s of party planning: food, flowers, family and friends. Though COVID-19 may force us to make a shift from our normally stadium-sized gatherings to more intimate, socially-distanced outdoor occasions, we can still welcome the changing of the leaves, safely and with style.

For the traditionalist:
Fall in Arkansas is synonymous with the rich, colorful hues of yellow, orange, red, purple and brown. Embrace the season with colorful dishes paired with free-form, loose flower arrangements in classic autumnal colors accented by seasonal produce picked up from your local farmers market.

For the minimalist:
No matter the season, neutrals continue to rule. Capitalize on this timeless trend with an inviting base of casual dinnerware pieces, linens and florals in taupes, grays, whites and creams. Next, layer in more transitional home decor items like velvet pumpkins to brighten the table and add warmth and texture.
