Hallelujah and pass the ketchup. One of our favorite annual promotions is back, and we’re already drooling just thinking about it.
Once again proving that August isn’t just about sweat stains and school supplies, the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) is bringing back Little Rock Restaurant Month for its seventh year — but this time, there’s a twist.
Just like before, restaurants will offer weekly deals and specials to get locals out of the house and into the booths of their go-to spots and yet-to-be-discovered obsessions. This year, however, it’s all about neighborhoods. A different district of the city each gets a week to wow you with its menu prowess.
This is how the schedule breaks down.
Week 1: Downtown
Aug. 1-7
River Market, Main Street Creative Corridor, East Village, SoMa
Week 2: Midtown
Aug. 8-14
Heights, Hillcrest, University corridor, Rebsamen, Rodney Parham, west of Downtown, east of I-430, north of Highway 5
Week 3: West
Aug. 15-21
West of I-430, north of Highway 5
Week 4: Southwest and Airport
Aug. 22-28
Week 5: Food Trucks
Aug. 29-31
Locations and trucks vary
