Eggshells Kitchen Co.’s June and July Cooking Classes

Every few weeks, we take a moment or two to swoon over who Eggshells Kitchen Co. is bringing in for its monthly line of cooking classes. This time around, the usual suspects are just as wonderful as ever. Check it out and drool with us.

June 4: Gin and Tonic with David Burnette of South on Main

Ok, so don’t pretend you don’t know about South on Main and its legendary eats and drinks. However, you may not know David Burnette and that is a crying shame. The man behind the bar at South on Main will teach Eggshells attendees all about the world of gins and tonics, which are much more complex that most realize. Click here to register.

June 15: Junk Food with That’s So Raw’s Kendalyn McKisick and Natashia Burch

It seems like we’re seeing these two everywhere nowadays, but we don’t hate it. This vegan and raw vegan wellness catering group have made the rounds to different neighborhood events, this time landing at Eggshells. If you’ve considered going vegan before, but couldn’t bear to give up your guilty pleasure food, don’t worry. That’s So Raw will teach you how to make everything from Fig Newtons to milkshakes using no animal products. Click here to register.

June 24: Lauren Harrison from The Pie Hole

Everyone knows it’s just not a party without a pie, and it’s just not a food truck meetup without The Pie Hole. The pastry chef behind all this goodness on wheels is Lauren Harrison, and she’s rolling into Eggshells to teach the masses (well, small class) some of her delicious secrets. July 13: All About Tomatoes with Capi Peck

This is the third time Eggshells has offered a Capi Peck class in the past few months and they just keep selling out. Lucky for us, this particular session still has a few spots left. With tomato season fast approaching, who better to learn from than one of Little Rock’s most esteemed chefs? Stop in and learn some new tomato recipes from the Trio’s chef, as well as how to take full advantage of locally-grown produce this season. Click here to register.

All classes are held at the Eggshells home base at 5501 N. Kavanaugh Blvd. in The Heights and begin at 6 p.m. Ticket price includes a welcome glass of wine or beer to accompany the meal the chef has prepared, and guests are encouraged to bring a beverage of choice for the meal.

Check out the Eggshells Kitchen Co. website for full details and to reserve your spot today. For updates, follow Eggshells on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.
