We can’t help but excited when we hear that a fierce female leader will take the stage to impart some of her wisdom, and that’s why we’re pumped for the annual Women’s Business Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Hosted by the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, this event marks the ninth year for the gathering that honors the influential women in business in the Little Rock region, a tradition they continue by featuring the executive director of the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, Dr. Marta Loyd.
Dr. Loyd’s resume includes a 17-year stent working at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, 12 of which she spent as the vice chancellor for university advancement and executive director of the UAFS Foundation Inc. Dr. Loyd has served in her current position since 2014.
The Women’s Business Luncheon will take place from 12-1:30 p.m. at Noah’s Event Center in west Little Rock. Tickets are $25 for chamber members and $30 for prospective members, and are available at the Little Rock Chamber website. Seating is limited and reservations are required, so you’d better hurry up and snag yours.
