Downward dog just got a whole new meaning.
Party With a Heart, a local nonprofit that throws uber-fun fundraisers for other nonprofits, is slowing things down a bit for its latest event.
Movie singalongs and girls-only dance parties are the norm for PWAH’s schedule, but this Saturday, June 22, the organization will host a yoga class — puppies included — at Bark Bar.
Instructor Stacey Margaret Jones will lead the one-hour yoga sesh where attendees are invited to bring their furry friends. The class kicks off at 11 a.m.
Proceeds from this event will go to PWAH’s 2019 nonprofit partner Arkansas Paws in Prison, and will help launch its new program in the women’s unit at McPherson Prison in Newport.
