Staying safe is more important than ever, but now that you’ve watched all of Netflix and baked all the bread, you need something new to do at home. That’s where this SoMa staple comes in.
The Esse Purse Museum is busting the at-home boredom with a lineup of virtual exhibits that you can peruse from your couch. The museum has packaged three of its popular temporary exhibits from over the years, as well as their fan-favorite shop, complete with photos, panoramas and details on all the nostalgia-inducing fun.
Here are the exhibits you can explore online:
- That ’70s Exhibit: 50 years later, a supersonic decade still resonates
- A Walk in Her Shoes, tracing the steps of the American woman over the course of 100 years
- Barbie: The Vintage Years, 1959-1972
- Virtual tour of The Store at Esse
Esse is currently open with safety precautions in place, including the option for private appointments, should you wish to visit in person.
Learn more about the museum and find links to virtual exhibits on the Esse website, and follow along on Facebook and Instagram for the latest.
