Simple Summer Salad
SALAD BASE
• fresh varieties of lettuce
• cherry tomatoes
• yellow, red and orange bell peppers
• sliced or chopped purple onion
Chili lime dressing/marinade
• zest and juice of 2 limes
• ¼ cup red wine vinegar
• 1 tbsp. coconut aminos
• 1 tbsp. Arkansas honey
• 1 clove garlic, finely minced
• 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
• ½ tsp. red pepper flakes
• 1 tsp. cumin
• ½ tsp. coarse salt
DIRECTIONS
Combine dressing ingredients in a bowl, then use to top the salad base or as a marinade for your next cookout.
