Diamond Chef Decade: Brandon Douglas of Green Leaf Grill

Brandon Douglas of Green Leaf Grill

How long have you been cooking?

I began my career as a chef in 2003.

You started out at Wendy’s. How did you make it to becoming a professional chef?

When I worked at Wendy’s, I did not know I wanted to be a chef! I did not realize my love for cooking food for people until college. That is when I developed a passion to cook for friends and family. During the holidays, I would love to cook with the family.

What is your perfect meal?

Meals with my wife Kendria and my sons Maddox and Liam. Any meal, any time, and any place!

Is there anything you don’t like to cook and why?

I enjoy cooking most everything! However, I do hate prepping certain foods. I hate having to clip the tips of green beans, I hate pulling the strings of peas, and I hate prepping shish kebobs for lots of people! Oh, and deli boxed lunches! These items take lots of time!

What are you planning to cook on Diamond Chef?

I am not sure. What’s in the box? What’s in the box? What’s in the box?
