The Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches’ 21st Annual Arkansas Children’s Award Dinner is right around the corner on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at the Little Rock Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom. This year the dinner will honor Deltic Timber and the company’s president and CEO, Ray Dillon.
Each year the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches recognizes an individual or group who has made outstanding contributions to create better opportunities for Arkansas’ youth. These Arkansans personify the ideals of the Ranch, and hundreds gather each year to pay tribute to their dedication at the Arkansas Children’s Award Dinner.
This year, the Arkansas Sheriff’s Youth Ranches are honored to present the 21st Annual Arkansas Children’s Award to Deltic Timber and Ray Dillon. Ray has served as President and CEO of Deltic Timber Corporation since 2003. As CEO and ambassador for Deltic’s philanthropic efforts, Ray has been diligent in partnering with many Arkansas nonprofit organizations whose missions are advancing healthcare, education, economic development and workforce in the state. Deltic’s vision of helping Arkansas grow and create stronger communities for our children and grandchildren are always at the forefront of Ray’s work.
Former Governor Mike Beebe will return for his 21st year as emcee. The reception and silent auction will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner and the program at 7 p.m. Tickets are $200, or you can sponsor a table of 10 for $2,000.
