Few words sound so magical together as “spring wine dinner,” and this is quite the magic moment.
Del Frisco’s Grille is serving up a six-course dinner (plus hors d’oeuvres) with dishes perfectly paired with fine wines selected by a certified sommelier. DFG chef Maeve Grey designed the special menu for the event, which takes place on Thursday, March 9.
Just to make your mouth water, here’s a look at the menu:
- Hors d’oeuvres: belini with crème fraîche and caviar, paired withGratien and Meyer Cremant de Loire
- 1st course: tuna tartar, avocado, crispy shallots, arugula, tamari and wasabi sauce, paired with Domain Wachau Gruner Veltliner
- 2nd course: braised rabbit with gruyere and au jus, paired with Brancaia Chianti Classico
- 3rd course: sous vide and roasted quail with celery root, paired with Thierry Pascale Martot
- 4th course: rack of lamb, roasted tomato polento cake and rosemary demi, paired with Gerad Bertrand Minervois
- 5th course: ribeye cap steak crusted with bone marrow, creamy horseradish and crispy potatoes, paired with Marietta Old Vine Lot 62
- 6th course: honey-infused mascarpone panna cotta with poached peach, paired with Pine Ridge Chardonnay Viognier
